Compliments of the LINKS Kitchen (Gruss aus der LINKS Küche) is a regular public event for people interested in the work of the new Left party in Vienna, LINKS. This time we’re doing it in English!

Why English? Many people who don’t have German as a first language feel more confident in English. We will try to keep it as simple as possible, so that everyone can follow the presentations and contribute their ideas. And we may add meetings in additional languages in the future.

We will introduce the organization and its various projects, and we’ll discuss ways for people with less German skills to participate.

+ The organisation will be presented by Angelika Adensamer, who is part of the party’s coordination team. She will tell us about the general structure of the party and the ideas behind them.

+ The district groups (Bezirksgruppen) will be presented by Andras Daradics who will tell us about the current activities and programme of the party.

+ The district councils (Bezirksräte) will be presented by Isa Knilli, who got voted into the district council of the 17th district (Hernals).

We would love to invite you to share your thoughts, interests and political views with us. There will be time to talk politics and participation for people with different backgrounds and ideas.
